Constituents of the London Chatham and Dover Railway

The London Chatham and Dover Railway was jointly managed with the South Eastern Railway  from 1899 until grouping under the South Eastern & Chatham Railway Companies Joint Managing Committee and marketed as the South Eastern and Chatham Railway (SECR).

Originally incorporated as the East Kent Railway 1853-1859

Mid-Kent & North Kent Railway 1853-1866

Kent Coast Railway 1861-1871

Sittingbourne & Sheerness Railway 1856-1865
(amalgamated with the Herne Bay & Faversham Railway 1857-1861
and the Margate Railway 1859-1861)

Crystal Palace & South London Junction Railway 1861-1875

Sevenoaks, Maidstone & Tunbridge Railway 1862-1879

Dover & Deal Joint Railway 1874-1899
