Guildford Guildford Station, in Surrey, has always been an important place with lines departing in six directions, towards Woking, Effingham Junction, Dorking, Horsham, Haselmere and Ash. It also had one of the last operating steam sheds on the Southern Region. At one time the siding on the right of the photograph had a wagon turntable with two short sidings leading from it.
